With our strategic partnership with leading Icelandic fisheries and our extensive stock of Icelandic seafood in Hong Kong, we provide our clients with a reliable supply of high-quality sustainable seafood.
Our core focus is on bringing delicious & pure Icelandic seafood to South China. In addition, we provide our customers with other seafood favorites from around the world.
We are both MSC Certified (MSC-C-59097) and ASC Certified (ASC-C-03513).
OUR NAME
Saga, a word from the Old Norse language that has made its way into French and English, and meaning a “long story of heroic achievement”.
The sagas of old were stories in prose, first written in the Middle Ages, relating the epic stories of Iceland’s first settlers and their descendants. They featured Viking expeditions, migration, and epic adventures.
We chose this evocative reference and the name Saga Seafood because our story, our saga, began with the unlikely and extraordinary gathering of people from different corners of our world, united by a common passion for seafood.
Seafood has been such an important part of Iceland’s history, its saga, that we felt compelled to perpetuate it, here in Hong Kong, whose long history is also closely linked to the bounty of the sea.
It is our humble ambition to promote the famous and delicious Icelandic seafood to all who wish to share our passion.
